I'm a shit
I've been doing storyboarding where I work for about a month or two. Hard fuckin' work it is. I got it easy though, I'm able to keep my boards rough. SO much drawing. Its made me realize where my strengths & where my weaknesses are as far as draftsmanship is concerned.
I seem to be good with expressions & dialogue, not so hot with action & structure. Storyboarding is FORCING me to draw correctly. If I fuck a drawing up it fucks the animator up, & I know what it's like trying to animate a scene with shitty boards, it's not fun.
Anyways, I'm a shit. I don't draw outside of work. I start projects & never finish them. i wanted to commit myself to drawings something in flash or photoshop once every morning and post it, but you know what? If i have it in my head that this is a project, I wont stick with it. So I'm just going to draw something today, post it, & see what happens tomorrow!
