Just found out my student Flash film "Rex" got selected for the Portuguese film festival 'Animatu' for 2008! I don't think I've ever had any films be in any animation festival, so this is really cool !

Overall the thing is hard for me to watch, though there are still some things about it I think aren't so bad, mostly the color. The ending with the snail didn't really read as well as I had originally planned. The idea was that when a slug gets scared he does it in slow motion, but mostly he just looks angry, not scared! I learned a lot though!
